Contribute to Arkansas Crisis Response Team

AR-CRT provides emotional care in the aftermath of a disaster. AR-CRT does not provide direct aid: food, clothing, shelter or financial assistance to victims.


What does that mean?


AR-CRT provides:
  • Early psychological intervention to individuals, families, groups and communities traumatized by natural and/or man-made disasters.
  • Crisis intervention to victims, survivors, evacuees, first responders, and disaster relief workers.

How will your donation help?

  • Pay for travel, lodging and meals for trained all volunteer crisis interveners wherever call-outs are requested.

AR-CRT has responded to local, county, state and national call-outs including:

  • Local, county and state call-outs: Car crashes, child abuse, chemical spills, domestic violence, drunk driving crashes, electrical utility fires, house fires, floods, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita evacuees residing in Arkansas, homicides, sexual assaults, suicides, tornadoes, workplace violence
  • National call-outs: Hurricane Katrina – Mississippi Gulf Coast (2005), US Park Service and US Forestry Service Hurricane Decampment Center ñ MS, LA and AR (2005), Wright, WY Tornadoes (2005), Fulton County Courthouse Shootings, Atlanta, Georgia (2005), Florida Hurricanes Jean and Charley (2004), World Trade Center Attack (2001); American Airlines Crash (1999) and Westside Middle School Shootings (1998).

All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If your donation is earmarked for a specific cause, such as to help respond to a recent crisis event, any excess of total donations over expenses will be reserved for future victim assistance or to support our ongoing operations.
